Honestly surprised that people bothered to read that report, I skimmed the first few pages saw they valued SLR at 1.10 to 1.25 or something like that and was like yep this is report is gonna be useless, might go back to read it later but probably not since I already know what I'm voting... In their "expert" opinion deal is fair and reasonable but also in their "expert" opinion SLRs best value was something like 1.28 but umm like SLR is at 1.44 right now?
Basically the "expert" was clearly not very good at maths... couldn't even keep the summary short and concise like how does one come to fair value? You would think they just put up stuff like current earnings, forecasted earnings, asset prices, and forecasted asset prices to come up with two sums on what each company is valued at realistically they could of done that in a page or two then provided a more detailed explanation below... Evidently they did not since even finding this information requires scouring through 600 pages of just ???.
Some people that posted above, managed to find the two sums but apparently they didn't even add most of the actual metrics that would be used to get the two sums... Well it seems that the "experts" report was basically a "waste" of $240,000 but not really since they had to do one to push the merger through.
Well at the end of the day it'll most likely be up to the institutions to decide if they want to vote no and opt for a better deal.
