I'm sorry to read of your departure @Hawk70, but you are probably doing the right thing. I think you, like me were LT TMT holders. The promise of the tech has always been there, the delivery on the promise has been agonising.

In March last year I was sitting on a bus on my way to work with a sell order for all my TMT shares punched in to offload after years of nothing and just being exasperated with the whole process, with the intention of buying WA1 at $1.25. My finger hovered over the 'Execute Trade' button and I was ready to go, but stupidly for stopped myself. Today, WA1 is $18 a share and my holding would be worth well over a million dollars. But the reality is, by choosing not to execute that trade, I am sitting on a loss on my original investment in TMT. I'm a smalltime investor and actually pretty bad at this game as it turn out, so these kinds of scenarios are painful, and proper insult to injury.

We've all got stories like that, I know, but there's a sliding door moment I'm not going to forget with my experience with TMT.
