All you need to do is to decide whether you think they are going to buy back or continue to suppress the SP. I feel they are taking an opportunity in weakness to accumulate some cheap stock by shaking the tree. It is a good business so will bounce back. They are profitable so won’t need a CR if they are wise with the remaining funds. A good decision or bad, the board would have known what the remaining cash balance would have been after the option payment and they wouldn’t have approved it if they would then need a CR particularly when there is a share buyback in progress.

Im taking the opportunity to buy some cheap stock and will continue to soak up what I can on any weakness.

That's if you think the Board is competent.
If you think letting the SP lose over $3 is competent, clearing your expectations on your investments are very low.
Firstly these guys bought too much stock, now they're losing customers. It's a double edged sword.
