Cashless will have some impact in the few places overseas it has been implemented it has resulted in net reductions of around 20% revenue but none of those places have the source of wealth checks and welfare checks etc that star is currently doing. Cashless is far less of a deterrent than these other regulations so in Stars case the reduction should be less. It's also worth pointing out that Crown is already currently cashless and there are trials already underway in NSW clubs. Cashless is likely to be one of the reforms that will stick long term regardless and be forced to be rolled out in all venues including clubs and pubs.
