In the current climate, I think that most shareholders of most companies would agree that remuneration and bonuses should be very simply based around the change in share price from one year to the next.
If key milestones and other KPI's are reached, then the share price will take care of itself and everyone will be happy. I am all for management/directors to become a little 'hungrier' when it comes to performance and we would also probably notice that cash burn would drop.
I'm sure that this very basic and simple approach would never get a showing at any AGM, but Peter, how about taking up the challenge? Actually, with the share price the way it is at the moment, one would expect that in 12 months time, it should be a fair bit higher and therefore, using this simple performance mechanism, there would be some nice bonuses due.
