Current(!) enrollment rate in ShORe is clearly running below 1 patient/day. Stunningly slow given almost 200 trial sites world wide are calling for participants in this study.

Whatever the reason is, the idea of enrolling into ShORe does not seem the be the hottest stuff on earth for newly diagnosed wAMD patients. Which is pretty contrarian to OPT‘s concept (to which I actually used to very much agree) that patients prefer vision gains over longer treatment intervals.

Let‘s see if OPT makes it by the end of May. Then leaving 12 weeks to get the refinancing done.
