Initially both lots were going to be fabbed concurrently with PL6 coming a little time after PL5.
By pushing out PL6 by a couple of months they can probably better incorporate what they learn from PL5 into PL6. The company is still going to receive PL5 on time.
Remember, this is a brand new platform that IMEC is doing development work for 4DS on.
I'd rather they ease off the gas and get PL6 right, if that is what is needed. Better to have a working platform lot 2 months late than a non functioning one on time just to keep you happy Jack.
There's a lot of market engagement activity planned for the next 6 months. Setting up go to market strategies takes time. Building trust with potential buyers takes time.
