You should talk, I doubt whether you've ever been in Western Australia to a mine.
Germany hardly has a single mine left, even the steel mills and smelters are nearly broke although most are closed down already.
Germany now has to import most of its EV's from China. All raw materials, alloys etc now come from Asia.
Even all Germany's solar panels and windmills come from China, you'll need to start talking Chinese if you want to do business in future.
Looks like China will control the entire EV market in the EU a couple of years.
