If I remember correctly the principal investigator recommended a patient in cohort 1 be moved to cohort 2 as they were doing so well.
Effectively , that person went 1 - 2 - 4.
So this individual got double counted in the intake of 1 and 2 ( ie. only ever 12 people, but was in the initial date for 1 & 2, but finished in cohort 2 only ).
Clear as mud !
I think that is the way it went down.
