    Hey John435,

I thought I read somewhere that THX did a microscopic study of the chalcopyrite ore and pretty much concluded it was VMS (sphalerite presence???)
Not sure why a VMS deposit would necessarily be regular. It is deposited stratigraphically on a potentially active ocean floor (like a blanket). IMHO the deposits could be as irregular as hell e.g. thinner on topographic highs, thicker on lows, cut up by new vents, gouged, channeled and remobilized by water/sediment flows. And thats before any folding and faulting occurs!!!
