re: a religious It’s the article about returning children to the parents of survivors?

Of course it only a News article so how accurate it is maybe in question but if correct why would the Church resist returning children of survivors even if they had been baptised Christians?

Probably goes to the question or argument of who owns the Church its Members or the Bureaucracy.
