Is the financial situation of SGR (as extensively covered in the current Inquiry) robust enough to deal with these open-ended remuneration packages as canvassed on these threads for the next CEO upon appointment. Seem to recall the identical desperation by some members for the recently departed CEO, remuneration and bonuses, ask and you shall receive, was the theme at the time. Now, that did not work out well for anyone, surely appointment on merit and ability to deliver a longer term remediation plan for SGR, without bonuses, but based entirely on a commensurate salary only package.
