The delay in posting the 1050m hole results I interpret to mean SPR have asked the lab to do more assays ... if there was a problem at the lab end you would think the lab would re do them right away (non zero results on a blank, differing results on duplicates, discrepant results on a reference sample). So I infer the problem was with twinned samples from a mineralised zone giving different assays. Nugget effect is the obvious reason, and I presume the solution is to send more samples for assay from the problematic intersections. There are worse problems to have than nuggets .
I am just interpreting what they have told us. It is a JORC requirement that the competent person sorts such things out before approving any announcement. I was hoping for a juicy announcement before I have to decide to take up my entitlement, so rats from the that perspective, but otherwise just things working the way they are supposed to work. Some kind of handling error is possible, I guess, but I doubt that it is.
