The problem, OpTrader, is that now a new intraday low of $2.58 (an all time low) has been established, people may not want to pay too much above that

Many retailer buyers like us, but we couldn't move TLS 1c, thats how much buying power the single person has.
With the size and volume, do you seriously think the big boys are going to wait for 2.59 if they want a stake in Telstra.
Yes if you wait there is a chance it may see 2.59.
Then again it may never see that level again.
So all of a sudden the small people buy at much higher levels.
Even at 2.70 TLS in a few months could be looked back on and a bargin at even that price.
