If he said that a rape most likely took place then he may be wrong. If he said that sex acts took place and continued when she said no, then he may be right. There is only one person that knows the truth and she is shown not to be a reliable witness.

He is the one that has heard all the evidence so it is hard to argue with his findings. Including "he chose to come back for his hat".

that’s not true. She wasn’t the Madonna - so two people were involved and looks like the judge thought he was more unreliable then her
