I was actually in the industry with the early version of Bapcor, 'Burson's Auto Parts' as a direct competitor. And they were a very good operation with huge respect to the Burson's founder Gary Johnston.

I too sold out, just before Darryl Abotomey was given the flick by the incompetentent Chairwoman Marharet Haseltine. I read in the AFR last night that Abotomey still holds about 1 million shares so I suppose he will get a big whack to his wealth sometime later today.

Time to invest in copper and forget about normally aspirated cars for the time being.
