If you had advised me back in March 2020 when I first took an interest, and particularly with the first piece I wrote on it exactly 4 years and month today (01/04/2020), that we'd be having this conversation today as we are, I would have backed out then.

If BIT225 becomes successful for treating C19 I suggest that Biotron should be highly embarrased about the length of time it has taken all things considered. Anyway, that will be one for the histroy books.

The same does not necessraily apply for HIV, although I think there are plenty here who have been waiting longer than 4 years....

The delay for C19 results from last trial is astonishing. I'm finding it hard to fathom it without conjuring up a theory about a financial third party involvement. The meaning of this is that they are being with-held because of some developing relationship with BP that also includes the HIV results, which of course are delayed for the reasons stated in announcements. The connection between the two delays of course would be that C19 cant be released because they are commercially connected to the HIV results that are not yet ready. But this is mere speculation to fill in the gap of bewilderment from the C19 delay.

Failing this we have to buy their statement that the holdup is simply because of the analysis complexity etc as stated. We can also conjure up a worse scenario such as that the C19 results are not good and they're reluctant to release them and have some excuse not to etc. I think though that this scenario is the least likely base don my faith in the science.

Anyway, not long time will tell, like tomorrow

I agree@Batmansdaughter we were supposed to get this headline results for Covid and then things have gone really quiet - that type of silence makes me believe that there's more to it, and perhaps like you said the Covid results are commercially connected to the HIV final results. 20 years in the making - hopefully something positive will come out this month from management. Let's wait and see!
