so parental modelling can be an indicator, but by far from being "the biggest predictor" such is in reality one among many indicators of possible DV.

the closeness of the relationship to the offender is probably more of a "predictor".

I had a brain phart today while in the barbers chair. I reckon if you watch how men treat their pets, that can be a good indicator of their propensity for violence in the home. Someone who belts their dog is high risk.
