thanks JB. About USD 15 cheaper to ship from Oz than Brazil (currently 25), and USD 9 cheaper than South Africa (currently 18.70) as at 30/04/2024.

chart in SMD daily IO update also shows about an avg USD 15 difference between Oz and Brazil over the last couple of years.
Interesting that C1 costs for Kumba IO are currently about USD 42 so c1 + freight alone gives you USD 60. Sustainable capital is about USD 13.90 per tonne (9b / 36mt / 18 rnd to usd). So one of the larger IO producers has a break even around USD 74. This excludes royalties and other costs…
