i am really trying to get my head around it aswell.
I've been trying to go though this paper on the phase 1,2 trial of 591. https://acsjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/cncr.32072
its so hard to figure out why the OS is so good, because the other metrics don't look amazing, yet 591 has more than double the survival benefit of pluvicto, which is the number one stat for cancer drug.
I don't no if I'm wrong but in the paragraph named ""antitumor effect and survival"" , they mention the below,
The time to progression ranged from 7 to 81.3 weeks, with a median time to progression of 16.7 weeks (95% confidence interval [CI], 14.4-21).
I'm assuming this is PFS? if it is the numbers still don't look amazing. Yet we get amazing OS
but the trial involves a lot of low dose patients, so that would skew the data for the time progression above.
