There is a lot of mindless bagging of SM too.
I notice not one of the SM haters offer any opinion/advice on what he could have done differently.......
After all he managed to get 2 wells, 2x 2D seismic programs done in a country where it has never been done before and made a 1.3TCF, independently worked up by Woodmac, discovery which is an unbelievable result from 2 wells.

Having said the above I have been very critical of the timing and generosity of CR's, absolutely appalling timing especially the spud raise which was completely the fault of the company secretary who can't count apparently.

I know there are some that will disagree but we only find ourselves in this position because of Baker Hughes. The faarked us in ways that no one seemed to understand at the time.

Looking forward though something has to give and give very soon.
