There are plenty of affordable houses in Australia but they are outside the capital cities.
Prices start at around $200,000 in most regional areas for a pretty decent first house.
I don't understand why more young people don't head out of the expensive cities to get a start in life. I don't mean moving to a remote area as I understand why most don't want to do that.
