I remember a decade ago a commentator pointing out very good reasons against SOL but a decade later It is proven to be a conservative stable performer, with plenty of cash in reserve. I'll be hanging on to mine and I do not see an end date. I am sure that there are plenty of great arguments now just as there were a decade ago.
