If you want to really understand what's going on in the energy sector right now, look no further than these 2 charts below. One is Carbon credit futures (not far off all time highs) and the second is Greencoat renewables, the largest LSE listed renewable fund (currently at all time lows).
Makes sense since the smart money realises that net zero by 2030 or 2035 or 2050 even, is a pipe dream, and consequently, more O&G will be needed for longer.
