It was the start of 2022 when things started to go south the the SP (FED began raising rates), at that time it was all the goldies, then when the gold stocks bottomed around sept 2022, WAF had held up really well while most other goldies had declined about +20%, unfortunately when the ozgoldies bottomed, people sold waf and bought the ozgoldies and that really shattered investors in waf, gold bottomed at around $1610, gold and the ozgold stocks began moving up and WAF SP began DECLINING!!!! That was bad, I don't need to repeat what happened after but just fast forward to 66 cents SP 6 months ago.

What I saw today with waf holding up just reminded me not to get too excited about it outperforming other gold stocks because the knife will still come for us eventually, but hopefully when WAF was declining before, the new mine was 2-3 years away, now it's only 1 year and I don't think investors will try to be as fancy selling and buying back in because the doubling of production is getting really close and there will have to be less sellers this time I assume.
