I would suggest consider how this impacts Syrah who need to carry an unprofitable mine offshore during this time, that costs them a fortune to have at a standstill.
Simply using tariffs as a means to make US onshore supply more appealing was the right decision, but instead the FOEC will work against entities like Syrah. Syrah in particular will be more impacted because they have a mine that costs them 4m a month to maintain.
