The base unit of time in SI is the second, not the hour. So 1 J = 1 W∙s. And 3600 J = 1 W∙h. For practicality though, with EV, ESS and Solar PV, "10 kWh" is a more useful concept than "3.6 x 105 J". Omitting the "∙" multiplication symbol in "kW∙h" is commonly done since it's not on the QWERTY keyboard, but SI Units allow the use of a space instead i.e. "10 kW h".
