You fail to mention that self driving vehicles saves lives. I don't think you have considered how many collisions can be avoided. You may be a good driver but there are so many careless and bad drivers out there.
I saw a car today run a red light! The drive could have easily have Tboned another car. Auto driving cars dont speed, don't run red lights, don''t fall asleep at the wheel, dont start driving into on coming traffic.
