the world bank which is basically USA and europe has granted Madagascar government a fair bit of money to go towards infrastructure development which crab has mentioned before. Madagascar has plenty of foreign risk however the same risk also exists in our own country we just like to pretend we are not exposed to it because we call ourselves “first world” not third haha
