Thailand has a guy who is famous for making frivolous litigation against opponents of the junta/monarchy in particular, but also practically everybody. He does it on a weekly basis for seemingly decades and has only just now ran into trouble (for apparently demanding payment from people to avoid his litigation).
So in that respect, the law is weak against frivolous litigation.
But: people have been charged for things like leaving truthful negative reviews against hotels. They can claim it impacts them financially, even if it's true. So the law is very strong in that regard.
Which end does this woman fall under? If she brings charges in court, we can likely only fight them. If she makes claims in public that affect our business or any staff (LG take note), maybe we have grounds.
If they had evidence of her blackmail, that could work, but they could have done it years ago if they had it.
