What’s wrong with space research? Plenty of things invented for space applications have become part of everyday consumer items. I certainly wouldn’t bet against neuromorphic technology being another one of these things and space will probably prove out several different applications including robotics, navigation, imaging and communication.
I know it’s cool to denigrate and dismiss these partnerships but ask yourself, why would any of these companies bother if there was nothing of substance here to investigate?
