You've made a lot of comments pointing out what you "think" a strategic partner is looking for. However, you've overlooked the most glaring and crucial aspect. A strategic partner seeks a bargain price, while AGY aims to secure a high price. These obvious primary objectives are contradictory, placing potential partners in a position of considerable leverage due to current lithium pricing. It's evident that potential partners are vigorously negotiating for a deal that favours them, rather than AGY shareholders, and JZ is striving to negotiate a compromise. Recent releases indicate as much (refer below).

These potential partners aren't naive; they're aware that AGY have approximately 5-6 months of funds remaining, and they will undoubtedly exploit AGY in terms of price and conditions. JZ could dismiss them outright, but without significantly enhanced production from the 2 ktpa plant, this would only lead to inevitable rounds of fundraising while he awaits improved pricing to secure a more favourable deal.
