"They have succeeded where Hitler has failed in terms of genocide and how his Gestapos operates."

I'm not so sure if they (the Israelis) have succeeded in terms of the genocide.
The genocide experienced by the Palestinians will most likely turn out to be the price that was worth paying in the end, in my opinion.

Hamas must have anticipated Israel's reaction to the events of 7 October and must have expected a total destruction of most of the Gaz Strip that ensued afterwards. See how well prepared Hamas is - they are still, after 7 months of war, able to fire rockets and very effectively fight IDF troops in Gaza.

What did Hamas know before 7 October?

    They knew:
    - who Netanyahu was
    - his lifelong desire to conquer and annex Palestinian lands through illegal settlements and other means
    - how much influence the far-right relgious Jews had in the Netanyahu government and what these religious fanatics want
    - that Netanyahu would have to make lots of concessions to the far-right to please them in order to keep his government in power
(otherwise his coaltion government would collapse)
    - pending court proceedings against Netanyahu

So, all in all, I'm very sure that Hamas must have anticipated that Israel's reaction would be, what most of the world call a 'genocide'. This reaction would have been much less deadly and destructive if Israel's government was not that extreme.

Not to mention that Hamas had no choice - it was the last call - think The Abraham Accords and what it would mean for the future of the Palestinians.

    All in my opinion.
