Far from being persuasive or providing any new perspective; the speaker sickened me with his self-adulation, his self-concern and his lack of empathy for people who are not like him.

I'm not all surprised that according to HIM he's 'suffered' many speaking engagement / debating cancellations - his bombastic, overbearing and inflammatory manner sends very poor messages out about the product he's marketing.
