Given that the current shareprice is about 50% higher than the SPP price of $7, what are the chances that KAR will cancel the SPP or scale it back to almost nothing? They could raise capital at a much higher price now, so in effect they are just giving money away.
My understanding is that the terms and conditions of the SPP can vary at any time up until the allotment date. Hope it doesn't happen, but if I were KAR management that's what I would do!
