Old narrative 2014-2024:

Yanukovych abandons the presidency leaving no constitutional article to follow to handle the situation his poor choices created, pro Kremlin voices crying “Ukraine didn’t follow their constitution, the government is illegitimate!”

New narrative 2024 -

Ukraine is following their constitution and elections are suspended because of Putin’s war, pro Kremlin voices crying “Ukraine won’t hold elections, the government is illegitimate!”

I dare to say that regardless of what Ukraine does, the pro Kremlin voices are gonna cry "illegitimate".
