Yes, great to see that their FUM just lose 1 %, when the market decreases by 4 % (using SP500 has a proxy for their index).
Interesting to see that it is due to 2 main elements :
- net inflows, which helps them offset almost half of the market decrease,
- and the outperformance of their funds.
We don't have the details of outperformance by fund, but once again, their emerging market funds seemed to have done very well, as the FUM for emerging markets increased by 1.5 % during the month.
They now represent 28 % of their total FUM and may continue to be a major driver for their growth.
