What we are seeing replicated across many stocks is just the start...

...the ASX is a trading backwater - if Bots are taken out of the equation, there is not much action on many stocks like BTA.

So with Algo Trading being protected by ASIC/ASX, what hope is there? When a major fund/trader can manipulate the SP by buying/selling in single units, unless there is strong support from other players, the result is what we are seeing all over the place - not just BTA.

Algo Trading is pushing retail investors out of the market, with only Blue Chips and other stocks with strong Institutional support perhaps immune.
