Agree 100% with this... AAU have such a nice line-up of projects that they could very much give away parts of NS and/or LD cheaply if it means it will get them funded and rolling... then use the profits to keep our full 50% interest in the future projects and be more picky on any future partnerships to target fair value. There's such a good pipeline of small-medium sized mines in the AAU portfolio it is insane.
AAUs share of NS (based on only 4 years mining and with a 20% upside to the gold price assumption not included) is $70M... I'd be happy to see 25% of NS go to someone for $25-30M to get it funded (leaving AAU with 25%). A very decent discount to the project NPV to entice someone to enter... with all the upside still on top.
Similarly with LD, at some stage shareholders need to pressure Brian to get a deal done to bring in a partner, even if it means taking a 20% hit compared to fair value.
