Thanks yes that slide is helpful. Thinking about the rural centres without any current CT capability, I wonder what the decision would be between purchasing one of these versus an older CT scanner that they could use for everything.
Plain CT is never the front line tool for acute stroke - it is always a CTA +/- CTP (unless a contrast allergy is present, or the first run through of the plain shows a massive haemorrhage).
