There are granite plutons in the NW corner of Lady Grey ,Brian Thomas is keen to look at this area ,his belief is that the source of the pegmatites comes from the west , Earl Grey as big a deposit as it is has been cut by a fault line to the west.

This was taken from Kidman Resources June quarterly 2017 on their technical data from Earl Grey. Its good to read what was as to what is now, like back to the future.

"The results of this analysis confirmed spodumene to be the dominant Li-aluminosilcate within the Earl Grey pegmatite. Petalite was found to be restricted to the far western margin of each pegmatite body, where it co-occurs with variable amounts of spodumene."

So Brian could be onto something
