Suncorp doesn't want AMA in bankruptcy because in bankruptcy they can escape the absurdly mangled contract they got, in secret, during March 2020, in exchange for the $400 mil. contract AMA paid for. So Suncorp will try to keep AMA alive but just barely, as it is now. Better that AMA goes bankrupt and sues Suncorp for the $400 mil. + damages and lets Suncorp find out what happens when half of all of your collision repair jobs are getting done line by line at little mom and pops all over the place. their insurance customers will love the extra waiting times. this is likely the best path towards justice. unlikely that AMA has the balls to pursue it.
