Any of the bros who are still thinking that Hillgrove still has a chance to of partake in an Eastern star takeover should be getting those glass eyes examined.

There are only 84 days left for the Hillgrove agreement to expire, and any takeover has to be FINISHED by then for Hillgrove to even hope for a brass rupee from Bangaladesh. Or from Karachi, if you prefer that.

And there is no reason for the Eastern Star Board to want Hillgrove to get anything, because it accrues them no benefit.

Every cent that Santos does not have to give Hillgrove is a cent extra that it can use towards a successful takeover of Eastern Star.

forget about secret deals or wink wink arrangements, because if they were present and ever saw the light of day, then anyone who partakes in them will need some extra blankets in their cell.

It is sad that sometimes people live gulping in hope in the face of irrefutable evidence to the contrary, but if it gives them pleasure, and if it makes their lives happier for a few more days, then who are we to spoil their fun and pleasure?

No doubt this post will cause great angst and dissent from all sorts of quarters, but times they are a changing, and that is how we see things from here.

But we are just simple Jamaicans who are nor well versed in the ways of finance, and see things as black or white when they are really invisible.
