You don't seem to understand. CVN has very limited control over the development of their assets - WI is 10-20%. All Rusty has to do, is to identify good resources trading too cheaply, and then control costs. He has a very good track record of the former, and seems to be doing quite well at the later.
But yes, if you had done any work yourself, you would have learned he has indeed done this before. For example:
