It's not condescending because I am a boomer myself, so I claim "B word privilege". But on reflection, I shouldn't be mean and nasty, even if it's to my own cohort.
Your assessment that most people here have a clue is generous. In that spirit, to my fellow boomers who actually DO have a clue, I apologise. Also I appreciate your reference to facebook, indicating you know where I'm coming from. The low-quality devious posts you wisely avoid could be written by a bored teenager for all I know.
Now I will go away and listen to "My Generation" by The Who. It's always been great to say "why don't you all f-f-f fade away", but we'd better be ready to hear it ourselves - those of us who didn't die before we got old.
