fewer cyclones was what was predicted - was it not?
we're coming up to a season with atm much warmer waters than normal, even accounting for El Niño
in the coming La Nina - the tendency is for cyclones. What is to be seen yet is what temperatures the waters will be.
The risk? ---- much higher than normal. The risk of East Coast floods - way higher than normal
we shall see and hope that the tendencies don't play out. But, it would be wise to have an umbrella - BEFORE it rains
it's called preparation
