Can't quote your post but I'm not sure book value is a good number.
From the half year accounts:
Equity is $815m ($2.90 per share)
But $522m belongs to non-controlling interest
This means OBL's share of equity is only $293m ($1.04 per share)
There is goodwill $102m
OBL equity less goodwill is $191m ($0.68 per share)
This assumes OBL's litigation investments at face value
