Let's assume you bought your shares at IPO @ 40c and sell them now @ 30c when the SP climbed out of the 16c sinkhole from a few months back.
That will give you a loss of 10c but as you rightfully mentioned, you also received about 20c in divs over 6 years (2018-2024). (albeit unfranked)
So you'll end up with a profit of 10c (20c divs - 10c loss from sales) if you sell today.
In 6 years time you will have earned 10c/40c = 25% on your initial 40c investment, 25% / 6 years is = 4.17% p/j.
When you assume an average currency inflation rate of 3% p/j over the years it comes to 4.17% - 3 % = 1.17% p/j.
Off course there is always the possibility on strong ore prices the SP might climb back to IPO which changes the math a bit ;-)
Lets hope so.
