i had/ have similar concerns
Have you had a look at the profiles of other well used IV ABs?
I did some research in MIMs as to plasma half lives, excretion times etc of vancomycin, merepenum, cefazolin, ceftriaxone as these are commonly used ABs in my role and the results were not horrible in comparison
still monitoring the situation but not as alarmed as i was at first
