I saw the announcement from here and my first thought was.. it's about bloody time. With GW never able to close a deal and never wanting royalty agreements, why would anyone want to deal with hazer.
it's great that someone else is building the scale up plant and picking up the tab for the costs.. that should prove hazer at scale and hopefully for the tech and all holders open up the floodgates for orders.
BUT and there is a big but.
they will still need to fund the time frame for the build and even with a royalty, will they cover costs. As you well know and most others would also, the management team don't hold back with their paycheques. covering staff wages would be a few mil per year, and if the CDP is anything to go by, build time could well be over 12 to 24 months. Does that mean that shareholders end up picking up the tab for the running costs of the board and associates staff.
Full disclosure. I haven't done my due diligence in looking up hazer's current financial situation, and don't know what hazer is expecting in revenues for royalty agreements.
